The building, which is called Palazzo Spinola, was built in 1450 for Luciano Spinola and in the XVI century was rebuilt by Gerolamo Spinola. It is situated in the old square of Spinola family from Luccoli, in the XVIII century it was divided into a variety of residential units. In 1818 Gian Gerolamo Bansa buys it, then the ground floor level becomes St. Catherine way.
