Expertise

  • Ephran Younger obtained his real estate license in 1989 and brokers license in 1994. In his first year, Ephran was voted "Rookie of the Year" for his outstanding service. Now, with over 15 years of experience as a Realtor, and many more awards to his credit, Ephran is widely recognized as an expert in Monterey Peninsula real estate. Among his numerous awards for excellence is Coldwell Banker's highest honor, the International President's Premier Award, earned by the top 1% of Coldwell Banker sales associates worldwide. He also gained membership in the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS), a designation held by only 4% of the top producing real estate agents in the nation.
  • The goal is not simply to close a transaction. "My primary goal is to have happy clients after a transaction closes. One can build a successful business through client referrals only by being honest, building trust and providing exceptional service that always goes "the extra mile". I know my market well and use that knowledge and my contacts to get clients where they want to go. Whether buying or selling, I also take pride in hammering out the best terms for my clients, using the skills I learned on Wall Street to negotiate complex arbitrage transactions."
  • Ephran Younger was raised in Carmel and, at various times, has lived in virtually every community on the Monterey Peninsula. This has given him a lifetime intimate knowledge of the area. Prior to real estate, Ephran had extensive experience in the field of investments; first, as a financial consultant with Merrill Lynch, San Francisco, then as a stock analyst with Value Line in N.Y.C. He later became a managing director of Fisher Investments, a Bay Area based private investment firm, and co-authored an investment book, "The Wall Street Waltz", with Forbes columnist and money manager, Kenneth L. Fisher. Ephran's interests include collecting art and playing the classic guitar. He is a member of the Carmel Classic Guitar Society and former vice president of the Carmel Classic Guitar Festival.
  • International President's Premier, Previews Property Specialist, Certified Residential Specialist, and member in good standing of the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, the Monterey County Association of Realtors and the regional multiple listing service, REInfolink.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Economics, San Francisco State University. Post graduate study in finance, The Merrill Lynch Institute for Advanced Finance, N.Y.C.
