Patterson is happy to do whatever is necessary on his client’s behalf. “Every transaction is individual and requires time spent researching all the details,” he said. “I feel it is my responsibility to inform my clients so they can make successful choices about their real estate investments. Modern technology has given us many tools, but trust in the REALTOR®/client relationship is foremost.”
Danielle Kennedy is the author of “How to List and Sell Real Estate” and travels the world teaching real estate agents how to pay attention to detail, act more professional and work as hard as they can for their buyers and sellers. Patterson has handled transactions for Kennedy, who would recommend him without hesitation. “Obviously, I recognize someone who delivers first class service to the customer when I meet him,” she said. “I am confident that you will be 100 percent satisfied with the service you receive from Jock. He’s the best.” In addition to Kennedy, Patterson sold veteran news anchor Jess Marlow his home in Monarch Beach.
“As a sales associate, I am provided with a full-time administrative staff, marketing staff, cutting edge computer technology and a transaction coordinator to handle paperwork so that I can apply myself to customer service, which is what I do best,” Patterson remarks.
Patterson also devotes a substantial amount of time to philanthropic efforts including the American Cancer Society, Laguna Beach Boys and Girls Club, Laguna Moulton Playhouse and the San Juan Community Playhouse.
Patterson is known for having an amicable manner and conducting negotiations thoroughly, earning him positive comments from clients on a regular basis. Happy to comply with whatever his clients need, the agent is always willing to go the extra mile.
Patterson worked with his mother, also a real estate broker. A 20 year real estate veteran, Patterson was born at Newport Beach’s Hoag Hospital, “when Orange County was still a farm area,” he notes. The agent has seen the area undergo many changes and he views these changes with a savvy business perspective.
Prior to entering a career in real estate, Patterson worked in television as a research reporter, a production assistant and a field producer. One of his former co-workers was Connie Chung.
