- Born in Youngstown, Ohio. Moved to Manatee County in 1980. Married to Teresa Cercone and have two daughters.
- Teresa is a stay at home mom and an artist. Jocelyn graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2012 with a Doctorate in Optometry. Jocelyn is currently doing a one year residency at SUNY College of Optometry in Manhattan.
